Trademark refusal rate in Singapore: Madrid System filings

110,026 international registrations on record designate Singapore. Among the 25,559 designations registered 2019–2022 (the resolved cohort we measure outcomes on), 37% received a provisional refusal, 722 (2.8%) are still refused outright, 111 partially, and 24,309 (95.1%) hold a grant of protection. That refusal rate is below the 4.4% median across the 60 most-designated offices.
