Trademark refusal rate in Indonesia: Madrid System filings

57,691 international registrations on record designate Indonesia. Among the 19,842 designations registered 2019–2022 (the resolved cohort we measure outcomes on), 16.3% received a provisional refusal, 1,314 (6.6%) are still refused outright, 376 partially, and 17,323 (87.3%) hold a grant of protection. That refusal rate is above the 4.4% median across the 60 most-designated offices.
